SCIENCE AND HERITAGE:
RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION
April 2019
- LECTURE ON SCIENCE AND RESTORATION with Doctor Sánchez Pajares. An excellent speech with fantastic illustrations on medicine and art.
The meeting with Sánchez Pajares was on Friday 26th of April in the audithorium of our high-school. Furthermore, that meeting was celebrated due to our project of heritage, scientific culture and ICT. Dortor Sánchez pajares, who is an important person in Huelva, explained to us how important radiology is in the restoration process. Moreover, he was talking clearly to us in front of a proyector with a presentation where he was showing all the process of the restoration of the virgin of Cinta and other masterpieces of Huelva Holy Week (for instance, the Christ of Jerusalén and Buen Viaje).

In our opinion, that meeting was very interesting because we learnt a lot about this breathtaking process which we are studying. Also, we think that it is important in order to maintain and conserve our heritage because he has employed techniques that have helped preserve worthy images of our heritage.
